Intended Audience
My intended audience for this e-portfolio is volunteer coordinators. I would like to obtain volunteer experience in a high school within the next year.
Career Goal: Find a career where I am able to help others with a degree in the humanities.
My long term career goal is to become a high school social studies teacher. Above all else I would love a career where I am able to help others, and this is a career where I would be able to do this. I am passionate about improving the world in any way that I can, and trying to improve the lives of students seems like a good place to start.
How Did I Get Here?
I love learning, and am passionate on the topic. History is a field that I have greatly enjoyed, so I would like to continue to pursue this. I am currently enrolled at the University of the Fraser Valley in the Bachelor of Arts program, and my major is History. I also did not have the best experience in high school, and I would love the opportunity to change this for future students.
